Okays,

This little bug or whatever it is has buggered me for so long that I've wondered if anyone else is having this:

Now the attention on that picture goes to chatbox. Notice how the messages stop in the middle of the box...Well it seems that when I'm scrolling up the chat and then scroll down again to the bottom, sometimes it scrolls 'under the bottom line' so that new posts appears in the middle of the chatbox. And little by little the 'line of new posts' goes higher and higher that eventually you can't see any new posts on the chat because they appear outside the box area so high that you have to scroll up to see them.

It's really freaking me out! grr...

This is really annoying when you try to talk to someone or you are looking to buy something.

I didn't find earlier posts about this so hope I don't start new thread from old story.

I've had that happen before too, numerous times. Usually when I size up and down the chat window.

I really can't see why this is annoying. It doesn't even look like a glitch to me.

Well it isn't quite normal when chat box looks empty and all posts appear above the visible chatbox area and you have to scroll up to see them.

I have it too. I recall reporting it a while ago too, but to no avail.

Just click the little arrow beside the chat box to remove the blackish background (so the words just appear on the screen, with no blackish background), and the chat returns to the spot on the screen it needs to be, and after a few minutes you can even put the background back.

Sure it'd be easier if it just didn't happen, but you gotta do what you gotta do before its fixed.

Yes, it happens a lot. You can also fix it by unchecking one of the choices and it will reset to the bottom. Like, unchecking Trade will sometimes fix it; sometimes Team or something else.

I had that happen to me last night when I resized my game window. Once I maximized it again, it fixed itself.

This kind of bug is quite small and harmless (besides the OP ripping out his hair over this..

), I doubt the devs will fix this anytime soon in the future.

yep it is annoying. try having this happen while in LA lookin for somethin. 1/2 chat screen goes by fast
